I update old chapters all the time when I post new chapters, so If you want to keep up I would recommend going back and reading over all the chapters when I post a new one, not just the new one.

Alek has always been the odd one out; left behind, left alone, left to fend for himself. Hands-Off parenting will do that to you, but when a lonely home life is combined with zero (yes, absolutely zero) friends in school or out of it, the overwhelming singularity can be damaging.

Matt, on the other hand, has never had that problem. He has everyone, constantly vying for his attention, 24/7/365. Girls, guys, teachers, shopkeepers, plumbers, business execs. You name it, it's tried to get his attention at some point. But that's probably just because he's the son of the Alpha of the local shifter pack. He doesn't want all the attention, it just comes to him, courtesy of his position. It's just something you have to live with in a town of all shifters.

Well, almost all. Alek is the town's only non-traditional shifter, most closely guarded secret, and he doesn't even know it.
