Emily Hudson is a normal teenager, who is struggling to deal with the pressures of everyday life. Juggling a boyfriend, school, studying, and the recent departure of her best friend 'Ella' everything seems to be mounting, and she has no control over it. Emily feels like she is drowning as she struggles to find a balance to make everything work, her relationship is failing and she doesn't know how to repair it.

So when her boyfriend Colin Armstrong begs her to attend a 'Paddock Party' with him, in a last bid to repair their relationship. Emily reluctantly agrees to attend, after all it's supposed to be a good time with her boyfriend, and she does love him. Maybe a fun night is what they need to find their spark again.
