Hyrule is in a deep peril... Although Link had gone back in time to warn the Princess of Hyrule about Ganondorf's true plans and what the future holds, it was not enough. A seven year war waged, the Gerudo-Hylian War, which ended with the Gerudo's success. Ganondorf became the new king of Hyrule, alongside his chosen queen, Zelda. The Hero Of Time ceased to exist after he died amongst the soldiers on the battle field. Those who object his rule are sentenced to a death penalty, and with the world becoming more and more unkind after ten long years, people are starting to lose hope. Even Her Majesty has begun to lose faith, that is until she got a closer look in a mysterious fellow (Oo, sooo mysterious~) named Shylo. She believes, with his help and optimism, they will be able to finally destroy The Demon King, Ganondorf. Unfortunately however, there is no one left to wield the master sword... or is there?... (This takes place after Ocarina Of Time) Warning: If you don't like reading long chapters, this book is not for you. Some chapters, of course, may be shorter than others or maybe even average length, but this book does contain various long chapters. Second Warning: I am cynical and cruel (so cynical! So cruel!...). While I will try to keep super erotic information out, I will still include what is necessary. Infants are also the most delicious snack... They keep you young. "Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. It had happened faster than he could fight back. The Imperial Knight of Hyrule, sworn as Princess Zelda's sole protector, had failed to save her. Now he was on the run. ----- Link Imperial, the teenage son of the Wolf Hero's Imperially-managed descendants who are somehow both man and wolf, was now hiding from the kingdom he was destined to save. All because of the missing power of Princess Zelda the Hylia-Knows-What-Number. While doing what seemed to be the simplest of his required duties, he'd stumbled upon a dark secret of a broken family. And by Hylia and the Golden Goddesses above, he was going to fight that secret and win; whether that meant continuing to hide it, or scream it to the world. It was high time that the atrocities that occurred behind Triforce covered tapestries came to Hylia's golden light. No matter the personal cost.
