Azuclaro missed him dearly. It's been nearly a millennium since he and the rest of the Addisons have seen their beloved brother. While a millennium isn't very long to the ageless Darkners, to him it felt like an eternity. He could hardly remember his face anymore, his voice fading away from his mind like a dimly lit ember. The others have moved on with their grief, continuing life as usual, and Azuclaro attempts to do the same, but he can't deny that he still misses that little man gravely.
All he wants is to see him again, to apologize and hold him close.
Tonight will be a fortunate, and unfortunate, turn of events, as a family long separated reunites, at the cost of one's innocence.
