Zhongli marries a beautiful but horrid woman, Claire. She creates chaos in Zhongli's life, and leaves him questioning all of his life choices that led to him marrying her.
He begins drinking, going to Mondstadt daily to escape from him and Claire's home in Liyue- the place he used to love so much- to get drunk. He gets into arguments and fights about it with Claire, and eventually spills all his feelings to the unknowing bartender, Diluc.
