My first attempt at writing JefHalo!

Jef has been running ever since the parasite took over, rocking his world and tearing his family apart. He has been doing everything he can to look after his little sister, Callie, ever since their parents and brother, Zak, were taken... Taken to be used as hosts to those filthy parasites!
Eventually, Jef finds a human boy named Damian Hunter, who agrees to help the two of them. 
They meet other humans, and life is going perfect for them.
That is, until a certain mission taints the course of these tired humans' lives
