In fact, he is banned from doing just that. But he's always dreamed of being a powerful mage and fighting against the evil monsters, joining a guild and traveling the three continents. So on his eighteenth birthday, he leaves, not knowing how to take care of himself or how he will face any *monsters.* Formed into a "party" early, with three other members--a rogue, archer, and warrior, he begins his exploration. The monsters are no joke, even with his newfound abilities gained from the goddess' avatar. Rule number one: don't die (or else you'll turn into a ghost). Rule number two: get good enough to join a guild. That's the only way to fight stronger bosses, and to maybe defeat bosses that have never been conquered before.
