Chloé sat down on her chaise, shaking as she did so. Dinner had just ended, Marinette and her family had left just a few minutes ago. Tears spilled from her eyes, rolling down her cheeks and dripping onto her hands as she brought them up to try and stifle her whimpers.

Of course, she offers to take them to fucking New York with her and only mentions me when she thinks that Marinette might get lonely. She can't even remember my fucking name. Some 'Mom'.

To let what happens, happen. So, when a stubborn, raven-haired man insists on taking her to dinner, she keeps her promise and tries. Tries and hopes she doesn't regret it in the morning.
