the ideal we should strive for is peace. strolling in a field of zinnias, taking in their smell, taking in their touch. wouldn't that be lovely?

unfortunately, such a field does not exist in the physical. at least not in the current form of the physical.

Zinnia is a woman who only dreams of her ambitions taking her as high as the ceiling of life will let her go. Albeit being only 24 years young, she has grown up in the farmlands of Texas amidst her mother and two older brothers, Travis and Walt, but yearns for a taste of the big city. A city away from the pain of her exes, a city where she could lick her wounds and find her purpose anew. Also, to escape being badgered with a loveless marriage to a man with eyes as wandering as a bee fluttering in the wind.

Her eye for detail and her split-thinking gave her the perfect opportunity to make her daring escape to the lovely city in the sun, Miami, Florida. Her new role is small, a Senior Technical Writer at the Miami branch of Wolfe Enterprises, but puts her eyes privy to the information that dwells both in and outside the walls of the glittering building in the Miami skyline.

A crooked detail noticed in a document one fated day puts her in the eye of the biggest wig himself, Apollo. Named after the sun-god himself, eyes bluer than the depths of the most beautiful sea, but in their hollowness lies pain.

The funny thing about life is, no matter how much one tries to run from their destiny or to avoid the simmering truths, it is that mere avoidance that rears back to hit tenfold. Problems do not go away, they adapt. And nothing stands in the way of life's will. Along with life's love.

What seemed to be an innocent mistake, was a mere shift in the cards of life to bring them one step closer to their very own field of zinnias.

And what seems to be an impossible pairing is more than a coincidence.

May the resilience of the Zinnia be an omen to how their pairing will fare in life's plans for them.
