"Woah... let's not be too hasty now. I mean, this- this could never work. I mean, everything is going to go wrong-"
His lips collided with mine. It was gentle yet there was a certain strength behind it.
"You done?" He whispered against my lips as he pulled away.
I nodded, slowly. His hands were now resting on the wall behind me, trapping me in front of him. I suddenly became very self-conscious and then tilted my head down in embarrassment, starting at our shoes. One hand moved from behind me and grazed my chin gently before lightly holding it, between his index finger and thumb, and pulling my face to meet his.
"Nervous, Will?" A smirk plastered on his face as usual, yet I couldn't find the courage to let out even a single snarky remark. "That's a first, but don't be. Let's just see where the road leads. You in?"
Oh no.
---------
Willow Reeds. Senior year of high school. Highly academic and wants to succeed in every way possible at school to prove to her parents, and everyone else, that she's more than just a pretty face. Stubborn; she doesn't let anyone boss her around, especially older brother Max. And just like every other 17-year-old girl, Willow is boy crazy. Only, she usually falls for the wrong guys.
Arlo Grey. Freshman year of college. He gave up academically after he lost his number one supporter, his mom, sophomore year of high school. Unruly; he doesn't care about the consequences that his actions may have, especially at parties. And just like every other rugged looking 18-year-old boy, Arlo is a catch with the ladies. Only, he can never attract the right girl.
When two roads meet the only way is to see it through, only the bumps may be bigger than expected and getting along my turn out to be difficult in this situation. Only time will tell if they see where the road leads.
