It had black wings, it had pointy ears, it had glowing eyes, it had claws, it soared through the sky, it was invincible. These were the vague descriptions of The Batman, spoken from the words of witnesses, and criminals who have "encountered" this legend.

The Batman is a legend mainly told by the people of Gotham, rumors and stories, hoaxes and lies, whatever form it was in, they spread the word around. His popularity grew immensely, reaching out to outside of Gotham and to the rest of the world. 

After taking down Bane's militia in Gotham, the Batman has yet to be heard of ever again. There are witnesses, but they lack concrete evidence of the existence of the Batman. Even when Batman tore down the invading militia in Gotham, there has never been any footage of his existence, hence he has become a legend, and a hoax.

He never got her name and never bothered to look into it. The last time he's seen her, his father was still alive. The last time he's seen her, she was stealing something small. What happens when he finds out that this thief is one no other than the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker? What makes the girl so special? (I do not own the characters in the book. A legendary vigilante/anti-hero from the Rigby has decided to move to Gotham City and with in a week of his arrival. He has put Gotham's underworld on notice. That there's a new law in Gotham CIty. His. way of doing things are considered too old school to be used. He's dangerous with his dual ivory handled revolvers, Sharpes Buffalo Hunter rifle and his limited edition Henry and Winchester lever action rifles. But he's even more deadly with his fists and feet. But as he cleans up the streets of Gotham his way, he gets the ire of one Dark Knight and Company. Well, maybe everyone of the Bat Family. Except one. Barbara Gordon. Whose been following the gunmans career with great interest. But Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne and Alfred are wondering if there's another reason why she's following his career. Finally one night he was hot on the trail of Rupert Thorne and had him cornered in a high class estate in the hills. The Dark Knight and The Gunslinging Lawdog have their first encounter. But the Batman brought along his long time protege, Batgirl. After a close call with The Dark Knight, the gunslinger runs after giving a good bone breaking kick to Batmas knee. But leaves behind some blood from the fight and a matchbook with his fingerprints all over it. And who should pick up the matchbook and swabbed the small droplet of blood than Batgirl at the behest of Batman. The only trick is he asked for the blood. Not the matchbook. Now there are a few questions that are bound come up, One. Will this new city anti-hero join the Bat Family or will he be on Batman's most wanted list? And Two. Will Barbara Gordon find the mysterious gunman and be able to tell him how she feels and will he reciprocate?

It was an inside joke. Each of the 'batfam' had a weakness. No one - not even Alfred - knew Batman's. Damian's was easy; Damian's was the heat. Couldn't stand it; he got way too hot way too quickly. Tim's was the dark. Was never found asleep without either a light on or the door open with a light on outside. Jason's was water. He couldn't hold his breath and had panic attacks when he had prolonged contact; say he was in a pool. Dick had two; cold and poison. He froze in twelve degrees (C) and never left the house with a jacket on. And the poison traveled at least three times as fast through his bloodstream as he didn't clot easily. Alfred had one too; as impossible as it seems. When the Killing Joke incident happened Bruce was of course feeling remorseful and great pain for the Gordon Family as it reminded him of his very own trauma, but he handled it very differently this time around and learned to use that raging pain to fuel him positively. All that is thanks to Harley who taught Bruce to love again and made him a better man in the process. But now a new incident is about to arise as their strength and morals will be greatly tested once again as the respected Bat Family. When the Joker causes chaos and gets caught as always he is then sent over to the Asylum where their worst nightmare will eventually manifest when the Joker gets loose and takes over the Madhouse by releasing all the infamous supervillains of Gotham. The duo will fight through their infamous rogues' gallery, Joker's Gang, and also against the ticking clock as they hope to unravel and stop Joker's horrifying plan for the city.
