Elinaruil, son of the legendary Gil-Galad, has kept himself in hiding for most of his life, afraid of the darkness of Sauron that still lurks throughout Middle Earth. When the fellowship is formed, he joins under the false name Selvin in hopes of being free from living in secret and to avenge the death of his parents. Yet with the fellowship he gets far more than he bargains for in meeting the elf that is Legolas Greenleaf and the secret that forms between them.
