During their travels they come across a island that was something out of a fairytale. Cole likes it because maybe that means he can finally find a way to get Kai to be his boyfriend. Princess Vania had given him flirting advice, but none of it seemed to work. Cole knew Kai was bi and just really hoped he could find a way to get Kai to feel the same way he did. Jay liked the place okay because he saw it as the perfect opportunity to make it up to Nya after the whole munce queen issue. As they help to clean up the mess, they hear of rumors, saying that there is a new darkness from the Dark Island that they have not been to in years. They decide to go alone, without Master Wu, P.I.X.A.L, or anyone. When they get there, they soon realize that it was more serious than they thought. The island was blocked off, and as the ninja realized that they were going to have to fight harder than ever before when they meet the princess, daughter of the Overlord. She and her army steal the ninja's powers and lock them up. The ninja try to escape, but have bigger issues when Lloyd's oni form starts to hurt his health. Can the ninja save Lloyd, get out of the palace to stop the princess, all on their own, without their powers?
