He thinks there's nothing he can do about it, but during Summer Break (wow, so original) they get invited to stay at Eridan's because he has no friends (lol me). You're sitting at home on your laptop, home alone, when you get a knock at your door. Naturally scared at first, you grab a pair of scissors and slowly creep downstairs to your porch. You peek over the doorway, and you see someone by your door. It's just Karkat Vantas, your childhood friend whom you've known for a long time! You hang out for a while, but then things take a turn, for better? Maybe worse, who knows. You take the situation as a better one compared to other things that have happened before. Land or Water?
Sollux was by the ocean, sitting on the dock one day. He doesn't really have the greatest life on land, he was fired from his job, he needed money to pay rent for his apartment, he didn't have many friends, and things just didn't work out for him anymore. As he gets up to leave from the dock, he falls into the ocean, but then he's saved by some mystery person and when he finds out it was a merman who saved him, he becomes great friends with him and finds out that his name is Eridan. But then, Eridan's father disapproves of their friendship and does something horrible. Sollux then finds Eridan with tons of cuts and bruises all over him, on the beach and helps him out. He does all of this while keeping him secret from everyone else except for his best friend, Karkat. After some time, he realizes that he can't stay on land if he wants to keep Eridan safe. Sollux will have to choose whether to stay on land and look for a different way to help him, or to become a merman himself and live in the water for the rest of his life. Dave Strider x reader x Karkat Vantas.. Warning: this gets rather violent in some context, blood and gore is fairly frequent. Strong language too, but I don't understand why you need that warning if you got through Homestuck. Dave, Karkat and other Homestuck characters belong to Andrew Hussie. Story belongs to me. Lemon is in there, but you do not need to read it. It's not the best of lemons, it's just kinda ridiculous and stupid. Ps. In the early chapters I may say this is not a Karkat x reader.
