Warning: This is the sixth book in a series. I recommend you go back and read the others starting with "Fight Her" and/or the part in "Protect Her" titled "OC Info" for some of this to make sense. The death of Alvin Olinksy and the things she went through during Denny Woods' reign of terror have taken it's toll on our favorite brunette. All she really wants to do is grieve and heal. But with the problem of the Carlos DeLeon shooting looming over her husband like a shadow, there isn't much time for that. And to top it all off, Chicago is in need of a new mayor and CPD Superintendent Brian Kelton seems more than happy to rise to the occasion. How will this affect the members of the Intelligence Unit? What happens when an old friend of Hank's joins the running? And most importantly, when Ana starts keeping a dark secret from the teams of the 21st District and Firehouse 51, will they figure it out and Help Her? Or will it consume her whole instead?
