Jess is a 17 year old girl who is from southern Ontario. Her and her brother Matt live on a ranch  that was given to them by their father. Jessie's parents were never around. Jess's mom was not a very nice person. Jess, her farther , Matt have no clue were there mother went. Jess and Matt were raised by their aunt who has later on passed away. Will Jess ever see her father agian?
