Czar Wessex Alfred XII is dying and the Empire is in danger. His sons are fighting against each other, his closest advisor is plotting to take the throne, a new rebellion consisting of xenophobic and religious fanatics has emerged and the members of the old rebellion live on as bandits. The future is uncertain many are left to remember if the Empire that has stood for twenty-one thousand and twenty-three twelvemonths will continue to thrive in the ocean is calls home, or if it will be divided into countless successor states.
