Twelve-year-old Brianna Tori Wong was placed inside a dumpster when she was only a few minutes old by her drug addicted birth mother. No one knows a thing about her past, including her adoptive parents David and Michelle Wong. Brianna is raised in a Chinese American household and being taught Chinese culture and language. Even though she doesn't look a thing like her adoptive family, they love her unconditionally. Even though she gets lectured and ridiculed by her "so-called" friend Lisa, Brianna tries really hard to stay true to herself. However, when she gets older, she takes her own journey to find out about her birth parents in order to know more about herself.
