Jade was born helpless, blonde baby in the middle of nowhere.
Sometimes, in the past 30 years, babies have disappeared from their hospitals with no trace of where they went, and then found in the nearby forests.
The oddest part? Suddenly, a small patch of their skin is a pattern drawn with a weird color, almost like a tattoo.
But scientists are baffled-they removed one of the children's patch of skin and tested it-but they haven't seen anything like it. The child's skin grew back rapidly and it was the same hue as before.
When Emma Jade is stolen, society goes ballistic.

And then, the first child ever stolen disappears again, this time as a 30-year-old man.
