"You have secrets."
"I do not."
"Yes you do, and I'm going to find out what they are."
Claire finds herself joining Brie on an unexpected journey, one that she had never imagined to be a part of, when all she was expecting was a boring roommate. Her mundane life from working at a thrift store changes dramatically, when her path collides with Brie's.
The two hadn't met since freshman year of high school, and hadn't realised how different they each were from their teenage selves. How their ambitions, passions, and stories had changed, and what life had in hold for the two.
Claire, an exceptionally gifted artist, was always eager to put her skills to use. The question is, would she still want to, if she was to rob a gallery.
And as for Brie, her story couldn't possibly be put into a single sentence.
Are they fearless enough to face the malice of the world? Are they desperate enough to pull off a heist? Are they insatiable enough to fall in love?
Ranks:
#17 in heist
Note: Not just all the characters, but most places like the museum and town in which the story takes place, the painting and artist are all fictional.
Note 2: This is a slowburn, do not read if you don't have the patience for it
Note 3: WAY too many descriptions of the sky but that's what you get from an author obsessed with sunsets
Themes of sexuality, homophobia, mental health/disorders, eating disorders and addiction
