The Undead
Hera Hernandez, a 12th grader from Ophelia Integrated National High School - beautiful, one of the most popular girls in school, kind, someone you can trust. A people pleaser with a "seemingly ordinary life" in an ordinary world... until that world crumbles. Zachary Bawar, her ex-boyfriend, is a stark contrast with a tragic past. He's also smart, reserved, undeniably talented, both admired and feared by those around him. He could be a selfish one, and wants to always take control, something that once drew Hera in - and eventually drove her away. Now, the two exes must face a popular fiction-like situation that's turned into a reality: a world consumed by the undead. Forced to work together to survive, they'll confront not only the hordes and horrors outside, but also the lingering tension between them? --- NOTE: This is a work of fiction! Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are all a product of my imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or real-life events is purely coincidental. It is inspired by a lot of the games, stories, and movies most of us all know and love - and my delusions as well 😜 Also, expect some Filipino words, phrases, and expressions throughout the story. I may not explain all of them, but they add to the vibe! CREDITS: The picture in the book cover is a picture I got from Pinterest and edited in Canva. I am not the owner of the said picture and will only use it as a temporary book cover until (if) I have my own picture commissioned 😁
