Zelink AU Modern Fanfiction Link and his grandfather always used to go on an ice fishing trip every winter break. But when Link's grandfather passes away, Link decides to rent part of the old cabin he used to own, and go have his fishing trip as normal. But it's not completely normal, the new owner's daughter tends to the cabin while he's there and she seems to be a nuisance. Will Link be able to enjoy his regular fishing trip as normal this winter break, or will Zelda ruin it for him? Life in Zora's Domain
An AU about Mipha's and Link's life together post Calamity. I tried to have some fun with this story, taking it in different directions, developing Mipha's and Link's family, making up some adventures, and creating some connections to other Zelda stories. But the main theme is Mipha's and Link's love for each other and building a happy life together. I'm sure I don't always succeed, but I try to keep the story light hearted and generally opt for happy outcomes. The first 2 chapters now incorporate the prequel stories 'His Future is in the Past' and 'Beginning Life in Zora's Domain', so this AU is self-contained in one story. They go on an adventure to find her way back home while also trying to save her new world. She learns how to fight and survive and helps Link beat the three temples so they can save Clock Town. Although the goddess had first planned to have the hero do his journey alone, she took sympathy for him and decided to create him a partner, one that would aid him during the dangerous travels to the Divine Beasts and finally, Calamity Ganon. That was your purpose. 100 years passed since the defeat of the Champions, although one remained. The one you were to help once he awoke from his slumber.
