That's what I explore in this story, which opens with Aladdin and his strained relationship with his mother, who blames him for his father's untimely death. One day Jafar shows up, claiming to be Aladdin's long-lost uncle, but of course he is really only after a certain powerful lamp. With the lamp, Aladdin can get himself the better life he has always dreamed of, and eventually he even tries to marry the Sultan's beautiful daughter, Jasmine.
