Allama Prof. Abdul Majeed Khan Sajid was born on July 25, 1925. He was a poet, writer, educator and confessor. He researched the date of birth of Allama Iqbal and proved with evidence that the date of birth recorded in the books is not correct which was considered and appreciated at the government level. His youngest son Khalid Masood Khan is a well known international comedian. He is also the inventor of Urdu Punjabi comic poetry. He is also a journalist and a nationally renowned columnist and tourist. 
Abdulmajeed khan sajid father Engineer Mian Muhammad Ibrahim Khan was also a poet. His speech was in Persian Urdu Punjabi which was written in 1902 but could not be published in Mian Sahib Life. About 40 years after his death it was published by Abdul Majeed Khan Sajid. Mian Sahib worked as an engineer in Baghdad, Delhi. Mian Sahib was born in 1876. Taught work to 700 Englishmen. He was in charge of a powerhouse in Baghdad, Delhi. He invented the spare part to prevent the accumulation of garbage in the oil pipes. Named Game Toto. In this endeavor, the British government awarded him the highest civilian award, the Victoria Cross Medal. Abdul Majeed Khan Sajid's eldest son Tariq Mahmood Khan was an advocate. He was also the editor of the daily Karnama. He was awarded the National Artist Award. Abdul Majeed Khan Sajid's wife Mumtaz Siddiqui was the principal of Girls College. He had mastered the Quran and Sunnah. The late Allama Prof. Hazrat Abdul Majeed Khan Sajid Afa Allah Anhu was strictly observant of fasting and prayers and was a devout Muslim.
