I have a better description in the actual story, because apparently its too long to be put in the description box??? But basically the government tried to make people smarter with this serum, but it accidentally actually turned all the people into zombies (whoops).
Anyway, this girl Sienna who has no idea what she is doing joins up with this group of people who also have no idea what they're doing, but who really does in an apocalypse? They are all trying to get to this safe that the government has set up to keep all the humans safe and all the zombies out. However, they find out after getting there that it isn't as safe as they first thought.
So read on unless you get offended by language and/or are frightened easily by zombies. Otherwise check it out. Alright? Alright.

The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. The Perfect Human
This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out. ~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. I see you're awake finally. Let me explain, I'm the overseer, and my name is Hayley, I will guide you on your journey through this time era. Your name is Lexi, you needn't know you second name as it is useless now. That girl you are staring at is you, and you don't know anything because I made sure of that." "As of now people are dying evidently people become depressed and aggressive to one and other. They all used to live in harmony and happiness, that was until the 'things started to raise. The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. That is all I can tell you for the moment Lexi, but know their are people waiting for your arrival, and we are waiting for you to end this suffering race."
