25 year old model, Athena Emerson, is returning home to Washington D.C from New York City for a company event with her parents and family friends, The Delton family, who co-own the very successful law firm with her family, most successful in the country in fact. Doug and Dorothy Delton's son, Aster Delton, is 27 and CFO of the company and lives out in New Hampshire. Like Athena, Aster's family has always been wealthy. He's currently being trained to take over the entire company one day. Athena can remember when she was 15 and Aster was 17 and they would sneak up stairs at whatever snobby dinner party they were at to smoke cigarettes on the roof. They lived the same lives so they understood each other. They were best friends for a period of time, but that friendship ended very badly.
