A story that will leave you breathless and in tears. Iknew I had to resist. I can't fall for someone who I know will break my heart. I refuse to. I know love never lasts, just take a look at my parents. Their proof enough. What's the point of falling in love if it will one day break you. I can't let that happen. I won't. Will Veronica be able to resist Jay's playing ways? Will Jay finally be the one who makes Veronica believe in love again? This story may seem cliche but I interpreted a lot of my real experiences into this novel

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
