The Forgotten One (Carl Grimes fanfic)

"I'm the forgotten one" that's what repeats in my head. I'm Elizabeth Charles. My parents left for New York about a year ago and in that time the disease spread. A disease that makes a person a flesh eating zombie or as I call them walkers. I don't know if my parents are dead or if they just left me to die. My older sister Caroline died trying to save me. I watched her turn and I watched her get stabbed in the head. By me. I'm scared and cold. I stubble upon a prison one day and I was kindly let in. The group takes me in and treats me like family and finally I feel loved. It felt like so long since I've been loved. Will I fall for with a certain boy? Or will I forget my feelings? Will he care for me? Or does he just think of me as just another person in the group?
