Our main protagonist, Cade, is a former military Sergeant who lost his best friend in the Battle of Cadavere. After snapping and getting sent to jail for a case of murder, Cade meets a beastman who recruits him and claims that he is destined to be one of the heroes who will wield an emblem and save the world from impending doom.
