"My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep. The more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite." - Act II, Scene II, Romeo & Juliet, W. Shakespeare As Diana's lips murmured quietly into a faint smile, the buzz of the class came to a sudden standstill; forcing her to snap out of her momentary utopia. Her eyes quickly made their way from the books in her lap, the ones filled with little doodles here and there instead of solved numerical and legal problems, sideways to the front of the conference room where today's lecture on criminal law was being held. Just as she was raising her head, her gaze stopped at the guy sitting right opposite to her. He was matching her gaze, looking right back at her. Little did she know of what was about to come.. she might have never looked up or looked up sooner.

Dear Diary: 25/01/2012 I am shaking. Something really weird just happened. So there I was, walking into English class. I grabbed the third desk in the first row, and Billie chose the desk behind me. I didn't even think to check who was sitting in front of me, so I felt completely free to belt out Rihanna's song "Shut Up and Drive" while unpacking my books and pencil case from my bag. Then, that voice-the only voice that makes my knees go weak and my jaw drop-asked, "Who is singing?" I looked up, and my brown eyes locked with his blue ones. Scott James-the boy who had ignited countless crushes in our school and I was the biggest schmuck of them all because I was hopelessly, completely and madly in like with him. I just stared into those eyes, feeling like I was drowning. I couldn't even tell you who I was, where I was from, or what century it was-that's how lost I was in his gaze. Luckily, Billie, who knew about my obsession, answered for me. "It was Thandi," she said, sounding smug. Scott's blue eyes were on Billie as she spoke, but when she said my name, he turned his gaze back to me. My heart-poor thing-felt as if it might burst right out of my chest. "It sounded really nice," he said softly. I was finished.
