Featherweight is a great fic, but it's messy, and the ideas are poorly executed. This fic is to achieve better storytelling, and fully fulfilling the potential of the Featherweight story. We have taken creative liberties, and have tried our best to improve the story of Featherweight so that more can enjoy it.

Grian is the most feared assassin known for his ability to kill swiftly and quietly. Hiding away, he holds a grudge against the King and anyone with power of unknown reasons. After an failed assassination attempt and a small look into the kingdom's history a few people start to wonder who the assassin really is. And even fewer wonder if they used to know the feared assassin. Only if they could capture him would all their questions answered. Right? Mumbo threw his third egg at the target block above Grian's door. The white shell exploded into a chicken as he finally hit the bullseye. Noteblocks chimed, out of time with each other. Footsteps pounded on the stairs within the house, quickly followed by someone running into the door at full speed. The wooden door swung open inwards, revealing the smaller, red-sweatered hermit. "Hey Mumbo," he greeted. "What seems to be the trouble?" "It's TFC's death, Grian," Mumbo responded. "I don't think it was natural." -=-=-=-=- Medieval City AU This IS a murder mystery, so there will be blood, gore, and angst. I will mix a bit of romance in, too, although that will lead to more angst. Since it's a murder mystery, there will also be a lot of death and a fight or two. Or maybe three.
