Feylan Lightborn is a young hunter who only desires the safety and well-being of his small family and his people. He doesn't expect much glory to come from his life, nor does he seek it, but with the decision to join a dragonhunt to defend his people comes a choice between murder or mercy that will change his life forever and give him a new destiny, one that will take him far away from his small home city and give him the power to not just protect the ones he loves, but the entire continent.

Rose Stormborn is a young maiden born to an upper-class bloodline. Since she was young, her family has controlled her and tried to mould her into becoming the High Lady of FlorrΓ­nston, a role that will fit her family's reputation, but not the burning desires of her heart. When she is informed by her family that she is to choose from a selection of candidates to marry and rule the city alongside, she is faced with two options: succumb to the weight of her bloodline, or boldly run away from her life and forge a new identity for herself. Whichever she chooses will determine her fate, whether to be a lady with no freedom, or a vagabond that will change the world.

Together, Feylan and Rose will make decisions that will alter their fate, resurrect an old legend, and spark the beginning of a new legacy that will live on for millennia. Against forces of darkness and corruption, they must weild the powers of nature to defend balance and the ones they love... and in the end, make the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the future and to defeat an evil that takes pure hearts to see.

I didn't expect it to reach this amount of popularity so I will devote my time to bettering it in the future. ------------------ Every year, in our village and the neighbouring villages, we encounter, on what is suppose to be the most divine and celebrated day of the year, a visit from the 'big bad wolf'. At least that's what the children call him. Adults like to call him "inhuman" or a "wild ravenous monster". However, the majority settle for "beast". No one knows why he ruins this specific day for us, the day we can celebrate our species: werewolves. Some despise him for taking this day from us and forcefully exchanging our merry and joyful laughs to screams of fear. When that specific day of the year approaches us, none of us are ever prepared for it. He always comes at night. We are told to lock our windows, draw our curtains and our doors. We are told to hide. There's one main rule that we have: don't look at him. Because if you do, no one knows what'll happen to you. Maybe that's the worse part, not knowing your fate. Not knowing the outcome of your foolish actions. If he comes roaming your streets, you have a right to be scared. Us "maidens" are always encouraged to hide ourselves the most, it's women that he supposedly wants more. However, I believe that that is a cautionary excuse. He'll take you, no matter how old or how young, no matter how innocent or how corrupt, no matter your gender, all it takes is a look. If the insane Dark Dragons managed to devour enough skykids, they would soon be able to have enough strength to force their way into other realms, and make them as barren as the sorry lands they came from. Taking down the harvesters was what his father, Orchari, was trying to achieve, since he was once a skykid that was trapped in the horrid lands of the lands in which he was held captive in. But first, he wanted to get stronger. This was a quest he had worked long to achieve, but the realm of death and power, known as the Eye of Eden, ultimately ended his life before he could. It was up to Skesis to finish his late father's job. He was going to find the elders. He was going to save them all. But the harvesters were closer to him than he realized.
