Father lifted an eyebrow at me, "Oh no..." He murmured, "You're not going to do it that easily..."

"What do you mean? He's a high-schooler, I can discard him easily."

"You don't get to do everything your way Miss Alita..." Father chuckled, "I'm the one making the deal, aren't I?"

I almost let out a groan in frustration, "Okay, tell me how you want me to do it."

"You have a year." A year? An actual year, did father really think I can't handle eliminating off one kid? "You will go to his school in disguise and get into a close relationship with him."

Has father gone mad? He usually never sets up tasks like this, and he always tells me to never get close to any of our victims... Like he said many times, Never get close to a target as it interferes with your work.

"The stupid boy will feel betrayed, stupid, that he's dying in the hands of someone he thought he knew well. It's perfect, the remorse, the betrayal." An evil look crossed his face and I clutched the hem of my nightgown. "He will die in pain!"

A story where Alita Suzuki, a girl who has no experience out of her assassin world, spends a year befriending Kuroo Tetsurou, a boy who's way too loud and likes a weird color. At the end of the year, Alita would have to kill him.
