Marinette was tired of Paris. She lost everyone because of one girl who came with fake stories and crocodile tears. All her work went down the drain. She decided it was time to leave this toxic city and move to a place that no one would expect her to be. So she and Chloe left for Gotham where they unknowingly would meet their other halves.
