I swallowed hard and tried not to show the sadness I felt in my soul, only the anger. "And I hate you." I answered. He seemed very surprised and hurt by my answer, just as I expected. He slowly let go of my wrist. "I'm done with you." I said and meant it for the last time. Magnus Bane was one of the best police officers in town. Together with his best friend, Celine, they worked hard every day. Lately they tried to catch a mysterious thief, but it was harder than they thought because he was very clever. When Magnus met a beautiful guy in a bar one night, he didn't expect that he would turn his whole world upside down.

And in that moment I realize I feel no regret. This is one moment I never want to leave, but also one I'll never feel like I want to do over. My life has been full of moments I would give anything to redo, moments I wish I could change, but this one, right here, with Magnus in my arms and the crowd of people just a buzz of high energy behind us, is simply perfect. It's a drop of magic in this otherwise dull world, and I wouldn't change a thing.

Magnus had never intended on coming back to the townn he grew up in, but that is exactly what happend. Now he has to deal with the consequenses of his actions all those years ago. You have two boys that have live that are the complete opposite of each other. You have Alexander Gideon Lightwood, who is the Prince of Angels. Then you have Magnus Bane who is the Prince of Hell's son, not to mention he has been cursed with silence for the rest of his life. That's what you get when you're the less favorite child. Anyways, when the Prince of Hell, Asmodeus, and the Angel ambassador, Robert Lightwood, strike a deal to give one of their children away so that heaven will be safe. Alec stood up to the plate to help, he descended all the way down to hell. Yes he was uncomfortable, but when he met Magnus something had sparked in him to love him. "One day, we'll get out of here and when we do...I'll find a way to get your voice back"

Alec lived a plain, normal life, primarily focusing on school. When his family moved to New York he intended to keep it that way. Magnus, a boy from his grade developed an inscrutable interest in him and unfortunately, Magnus didn't come with "normal". * This story will contain mention of slight violence, criminal activities and minatory speech in a later chapter.
