A seemingly harmless adventure turns into the cause of millions of deaths; a boy with a horrible past could have an even worse future; and I, Sam Damen, am responsible for it all. The year was 3087 when the world's third time machine was built. This time it was going back in time and I was going with it. I arrive in 1347 and before I know it, my fears I couldn't even imagine, have come true. The Black Plague is beginning to spread and it's all my fault. Along my journey I meet someone, my heart is crushed when it seems the Black Death has plagued their life. If only many lives hadn't ended so soon because of me, if only fate had been in my favor, if only I could have prevented what lay ahead.
