''The Invention of Freedom'' duology, book 1
Octavia is an immortal witch that lives in a magical land called Adilea. She was living a pretty normal life as a witch until a big tragedy happened in her life. Her mother died and her older sister was kidnapped and after 2 years of looking for her, she was announced dead.
After that, Octavia moved to the normal world. A world with normal people and no magic, so she can try to move on, but she can't.
Three months later, Octavia gets told that she has to go on a quest to find the leader of their rival kingdom, Caleria, and defeat them before it's too late. But she also has to find her sister on the way and she's not going alone.
She has to work together with a vampire and she's not happy about that. But what happens when more vampires and werewolfs, who are known to hate witches, get involved?
This is not a completely happy story. This is a story about war, love, death, betrayal, friendship, broken hearts and revenge.
Octavia needs to get her sister back, but what if her sister is not the same person as she was before?
In this world, no one is completely good. So when everything is lost, who do you trust?
