To fight back. To struggle and resist. Take that away and suddenly... there's no satisfaction in violence anymore. It becomes dull and meaningless. There's nothing more to it.'

People search for God.
They search for meaning in Him, they blindly put all of their trust in Him. They ask for answers. They come to Him when no one else gives them hope. They have faith in Him.
But when He fails to provide the comfort they search for him in Him, they turn away.
They search for someone else, a blind opposite of Him, they search for the opposer. The obstructer. The one who means nothing more to anyone else.
They search for Satan. They search for the Devil. They search for Him.
And they are told when they die, and they go to Him, and they burn. And they suffer. They are told that sinners are cast down to him in disgrace, hell bound when they die.


But what if Satan only died in fear... of himself?

It's like he had died along with the younger boy. He locks himself in his room and doesn't talk to anyone. He's finally forced to go to a therapy, that's when he meets Damien. The two are connected by the death of the only person they have ever loved. Will this be a good thing? How do they react knowing they both fell from the same person? And was that really the ghost of Sam that Damien saw, or was he just seeing things? Ghost aren't real...or are they?
