Summary: This poem is about Jesse and Casey. Jesse never had a dream, a life goal, or a plan in life. Jesse didn't care much about the future that everyone worries about. They all had something that helps them move on, but Jesse doesn't know what it was. Ever since Jesse grew up as a young adolescent, he didn't know what to do next. As the days have gone by, everything changed, including Jesse. Jesse began to fall from the challenges that came by. Everyone will be able to move on to the next chapter of their lives, But Jesse stayed still. He started to lose himself, the pressure and fear began to form a barrier. Jesse thought that things will be fine as it always is, but he knew he needs to adapt again. Jesse couldn't take it anymore, these voices from Jesse's mind starts to consume him. Jesse couldn't push them all away, he was unable to think straight. Casey, Jesse's Friend, reached out to ease the pain. To Casey, Jesse was her hero when they were still kids. The hero who would come to her rescue, when she felt lost and afraid. Casey did not want him to push others away, or to let himself be bothered by his depression. She was grateful for all the times he did for her, now it's her turn to return the favor.

Broken

'You know, we're the same in that way', he said. 'We're both broken.' Aiden and Jonathan have been best friends for years. While Jonathan struggled with a new physical disability and Aiden fought battles against his own mind, the two helped each other survive, whether that meant managing long days at school, dealing with their parents, or simply getting through life. But after a terrible incident, Aiden is left to face the world alone, with his own thoughts trying to drown him at every waking moment. While the loneliness gives him time to reflect on his past, Aiden questions the choices he has made that resulted in this, knowing that he can never tell anyone what really happened last Friday... *Trigger Warnings: contains mentions and depictions of suicide and self harm.
