This is a fanfiction that brings two famous worlds together in one story. It is a tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme Beauty and the... Dragon. This is a story of an adventurous young woman named Arabelle, seeking something more than her little recluse town has to offer. In a turn of surprises she ends up in the home of the most feared beast in all of Middle-Earth: Smaug. This enchanting romance, set in the famed JRR Tolkien's "The Hobbit" Middle-Earth, will trace back the roots of this beast's curse. Will the love of a mortal girl be enough to save him from himself? Or be able to save him from the new threat knocking down the walls of Erebor?

Beastly Desires
No. It couldn't be. Why would she desire him and in that way specifically? He was a beast. He wasn't entirely human. He was going to let her father die in a cell. He mared Aarvas face. He stole Celeste's maidenhead. There were plenty of reasons to hate him. Fear him. To run from him, but... "Tell me to stop. Tell me to go. Right now. I need to hear you say that you don't want me. That you never want to see me again. That I repulse you. That I don't make you as uncomfortable as you do to me. That the damning evidence between your legs is not the same as mine. That you don't find me attractive. That it isn't fear that's keeping you from running for your life. Because you should." He took a shaky breath. "You should run and never come back." Being the middle sibling, Aearon knew her life would be full of struggles; she would not inherit the throne nor would she allow herself to be paraded around for others to admire. At a young age she decided she would give her life purpose by swearing an oath to protect the Falmari people, she would become a warrior and fight alongside her brother to protect her people from the threats of middle earth. A routine patrol escalated and Aearon soon found herself separated from her brother and the rest of the Teleri forces, pursuing a group of dark creatures that tormented her lands. While carrying out her duty, Aearon found herself at the mercy of the cold Prince of Mirkwood and King Thranduil himself. Finding herself locked in Thranduil's dungeon, the she-elf soon finds herself becoming friends with the most unlikely of creatures who steer her life on to a whole new path. Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth.
