{Heart Attack} Bakugou x Reader

You had just recently gotten accepted into UA Academy, a prestigious college for future heroes. You had to be something, know someone, or be that someone to get in. You, on the other hand, received a scholarship due to your musical talent alone. Because you had a secret that would make others label you as weak, you often kept to yourself. You come in contact with Heart Attack, the University's competitive band, well-known for it's smash hits and members alike. All of them had a talent of their own, almost matching their quirks to a T.

Bakugou Katsuki, the man on the drums, was not only known for his good looks, but also his unbeatable talent with the drum set: he could make anyone look bad.

Anyone.

And not just that, either. His quirk was extremely powerful, explosive even, and that placed him in the top 5 of the school's "most likely to succeed" chart.

But there was something about you that just...irked him. Got on his last nerve.

And that pissed him off.

This is more like a college life AU, your interactions with the band, and slowly (very slowly) starting to like Bakugou. Not really for the person he was, but the hero he wanted to become.

Inspired by Lancaliii's "Opposites", I absolutely love how she made his character in such a way that he didn't stray too far canonically, but also realistically how he'd act towards Y/N.

Another thing: this story takes place during your first year at University Academy(UA), and each chapter might consist of two or three days over the span of a week, so it's gonna have a lot of chapters.

I have it as mature because...well, we all know Bakugou has a potty mouth.
