April Showers | Bucky Barnes x Reader AU

Bucky and Y/N meet in London when he spends a year studying abroad. It's a whirlwind romance that results in an impulsive engagement before Bucky has to return to his studies in New York and their relationship ultimately ends.

10 years later, they meet again in the big apple. Y/N is an author whose book is about to be published and Bucky is the founder of White Wolf Books, a publishing house in the city, only he's found himself dependent on whiskey and cocaine to get him through the day. When Bucky finds out about April, his nine-year-old daughter, it's the kick up the ass he needs to get his act together and maybe rekindle what he had with the only woman he's ever loved.
