After Seong Gi-Hun won the game, he went on to live out his life, unaware the games will begin again next year. The new victims start being collected by the recruiter and one of those victims, is Chae Chi-Hye. A woman who is just surviving on the low income and increasing debt she obtained when the Recruiter offers to play a "simple" game with her on her way to her best friend's house. Receiving the card, she immediately trusts who ever runs it and puts her hope on the mass amounts of money being true. After entering the games she soon found out that it indeed was true, but at a very much higher cost than she anticipated. Throughout the games her hidden colors start to show and spread, this catches the eye of a Square guard, Il Jong-Soo. Well ain't that nice? Could she possibly find interest in the Square guard back, or could she not find trust in the one(s) killing off her old, and new, friends.
