Centuries later, long after the dust of war has cleared and everyone returned to their respective homes, the wounds started to heal - scars started to fade and stories turned into legends.
⠀⠀Except for that -
⠀⠀One scar that never truly faded.
⠀⠀One story that has never been told.
⠀⠀One legend that is so much more than that.
Even now with his own life on the line, Bilbo still can't seem to let go of everything that was and could have been if only they have had more time.
Even now as he passes the world he knew into one that he doesn't, he can't stop himself from thinking about him.
⠀⠀Thorin.
⠀⠀Seeing him one last time.
⠀⠀That would be great, wouldn't it.
