The setting is based on the world of Hydaelyn and The First from the game Final Fantasy XIV. This AU also contains elements from other Final Fantasy games, Monster Hunter, and Genshin Impact

Some characters' names are recurring names from the Final Fantasy franchise. Some surnames are also based off of the names from Final Fantasy XIV.
