17 year old Chase is a promising young sorcerer thriving under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo. Unfortunately, having it all has gotten to her head, and during one of her most difficult solo missions, her arrogance proves disastrous when a special grade curse discovers she has inherited the rare gene that allows a human to bear a cursed spirit's child. Having finally met her match in the field, Chase will have to bear the ramifications for failing to adhere to her mentor's advice, and she finds out the hard way what it means to suffer consequences for her actions.
