Janet, the ever changing and evolving woman of the buisness/make-up world. Being in a buisness of beauty she has developed a thick skin that blocks out all the horrible, cruel, and insanely unhuman insults of her peers because without that skin a person in Janet's position would be likely to go mad. Janet has recently bought the company that she works for from her mentors and has been making changes ever since but with all that power in her hands, one tends to make more enemies than one needs. However Janet being, well, Janet ignored those people who wanted to cause her more harm than good is now faced with a crisis that could now mean her life.

John Wilson, the man that is seen as an inforcer was secretly hired by someone close to Jane, but who? Not really caring about the answer to that question because the money that is being offered is more than enough to settle the problems in his life. John is a blunt, outspoken, but caring man that will become something of a need to Jane as Jane will become a need to him. The only thing standing in his way is the crisis that Janet and him need to solve.
