Pansy had always been jealous of her younger sister, Amelia. Their parents have never tried to hide their favoritism towards the younger Parkinson sibling, and Amelia being a metamorphmagus just made her better. Pansy's jealousy was almost pure hatred. When Pansy had gotten her Hogwarts letter she was ecstatic, until only a year later Amelia had gotten her letter as well. Pansy begged her parents for months to make Amelia attend another school, until out of annoyance they finally agreed and sent the younger Parkinson sibling to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.  She spent her first two years there until she finally asked her parents if she could go to Hogwarts along with her older sister. Their parents had said yes, however, Pansy was livid when she heard the news.
