Rose becomes bored with her monotonous life and finds herself at a party with her best friend Sarah. The party does not go as planned and Rose finds herself in awkward circumstances where she meets Jake. The two discover that they have one thing in common. Both of them were trying to escape their lives. Although Rose shares everything with Jake, he decides not to tell Rose as much. The two ends the night with a passionate kiss and goes separate ways not knowing that they would be seeing each other soon after. Summer ends and Rose goes back to school unaware that Jake was to be her new math teacher. The two are disturbed by each other's presence and that in awkward circumstances. As much as Rose and Jake tries to fight their desire for one another, they lose. A kiss is not enough and Rose willingly submits herself to him as her love for him grows each day. Their relationship becomes dangerous as they become unaware of those around them. Jake knows that he is toxic to Rose but yet he can't seem to let go.
