There was an event where only male knights are allowed to fight each other to become the princess's protector. Luz was one of those knights who broke the rules and entered in the competition. Edalyn Clawthorne was chosen years ago to be a general to lead the knights to protect the kingdom of the Boiling Isles which gave her the chance to help her daughter become the new protector. 

Princess Amity Blight found out she would be getting a bodyguard to watch over her. She's not very fond of the idea, but there's nothing she can do about it. Amity wasn't impressed when she found out that Luz seemed the type to not be a knight with her kindhearted attitude.

At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough? Synopsis: Amity Blight's relationship with Luz Noceda takes a turn upon meeting a mysterious stranger who reveals that he knows about Amity's secret crush on Luz. Introduction: This was my VERY FIRST fanfiction! I wrote Two Queens, Two Hearts: A Lumity Story to deal with the hiatus after the first season of The Owl House ended. I initially intended to write the first two chapters only, but then I got a bunch of new ideas about how Lumity and the overall arc of TOH could develop. I picked up where the first season left off, and I wrote as much as possible. However, when the second season of TOH started airing, I thought it better to let Dana Terrace and the TOH team tell their story their way. I have also decided to write original stories and begin pursuing a career as a professional writer because of all the tremendous praise I got for writing this story, plus all the fun I had writing it! TQTH is mainly a romance story.
